Mr. Berger was born and raised in Miami and graduated with double majors in political science and psychology from the University of Miami in 2008. He graduated from Syracuse University College of Law and was admitted to practice law in the state of Florida in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Berger began his legal career at a small firm which specialized in class action claims and insurance defense cases. After several years of practice in various areas of law, Mr. Berger accepted a position as an in-house counsel for one of the largest auto insurance companies in Florida. Mr. Berger focused on Personal Injury Protection Law and defended thousands of PIP cases while employed by the insurance company. During the more than 5 years that Mr. Berger spent with this company, he was able to argue a number of prominent cases on the various issues that medical providers face when making PIP claims.
